NEWS: <UPDATE>Modern Warfare 3 Announcement Wednesday

Two years ago, Infinity Ward used the Game Developers Conference (GDC) to announce its rumored Modern Warfare 2 game. This year it seems they will do the same with the third installment of the Modern Warfare franchise (Modern Warfare 3?) Joystiq has reported receiving some viral items in the male such as dog tags with fake blood on them that have the name of characters in the game on them. Also, a website called Find Makarov has showed up online. The countdown ends on Wednesday so be ready to experience (ar in the modern era..........again.
(UPDATE) Turns out joystiq reached out to Activision for comment and they say they are not responsible for the website r the elaborate dog tags sent to numerous gaming news websites. It is now believed the hoax is so elaborate that a big company is responsible, such as EA. This just got interesting. Personally I think its funny, is EA trying to kick the hornets nest. Over at activision? Are they essentially getting free publicity for their upcoming battlefield 3 title?
