Razor Releases Battlefield 3 Crack That Enables Multiplayer Without Starting Origin

Battlefield 3 has been leaked on torrent websites a couple of weeks before its launch, and immediately after it became available in the US, Reloaded has released a crack for the game. People worldwide who will downloaded the Battlefield 3 torrent will be able to play the single-player campaign without any problems, however, the multiplayer requires activation and Origin. Well, another popular hacker group, Razor 1911, has bypassed the game’s need to access Origin, and people who bought a legit copy of BF3 will be able to play online without going through EA’s application.

Please note that this doesn’t mean that you can play the multiplayer without buying Battlefield 3. No, not at all – Razor has only found a way that will allow all people who bought the game to play online without the need to install Origin.

Many people will wonder did Razor went through a lot of trouble just for this, but the answer is simple: the hackers do not like EA spying on its users who bring them a lot of money as the internet is free and DRM should be killed. Razor1911 calls Origin a ” trojan” and it’s new crack is intended to “destroy” EA’s application.

Almost all of my friends (Tricky, RipSn0rter, CowPrince) who bought Battlefield 3 have complained about Origin, and it has already been proven that it’s sending your computer data to EA thus the comparison with a trojan. Although creating a trojan or a program which replicates this behavior is against the law, big companies always get away with because… they’re the 1%.

If EA already hinted that it doesn’t mind people illegally downloading BF3 because the game was built for multiplayer and to bring new gamers to the franchise, the company will certainly be annoyed that Razor has found a way to bypass Origin.

At the moment EA hasn’t released any official statements regarding this matter, but we’re sure that it will address this problem in the near future therefore we don’t know whether people who will be using this crack will be banned from the servers.

We believe that the first measure that EA should take is to change its Origin policy and stop spying on its users. Although Steam uses a similar technique, things are a little bit different. Still, it’s your computer, and the government should protect you, but it’s not like this will happen.
